Happy Friday!
We're so excited this week at Axonista because it's Fashion Relief TV's first anniversary! We are delighted to have helped Lorraine Keane and Oxfam Ireland build their shoppable video channel, Fashion Relief TV. It has been a great year of friendship and scooping up multiple awards! 🏆🎉
Fashion Relief TV's 1 year anniversary show is on tonight at 7pm with a selection of designer bargains! Please tune in to celebrate and support Oxfam's work around the world.
Speaking of excitement, it's Pride Month! We celebrate and remember the activists, changemakers, and storytellers who have led the fight for equality. We must continue to create safe spaces for people to be their whole selves. Axonista is proud to support Gay Community News, a vital, free information service for Ireland's LGBTQ+ community since 1988. You can learn more about how to support this wonderful organization and its work here.
Our Top Pick this week is the big news that Netflix has launched its own shop, which will launch first in the US market, with a global rollout over subsequent months. Described as ‘an exciting new destination combining curated products and rich storytelling in a uniquely Netflix shopping experience’, the shop will initially focus on exclusive limited editions of 'high-quality apparel and lifestyle products’ inspired by its shows. With the recent announcement that Netflix will be expanding its interactive entertainment business, we think it will be just a matter of time before Netflix joins the shoppable video revolution.
Your move, Disney+.
Until next week!
