Happy Friday!
We hope you had a lovely summer break - we sure did π
Lots to report this week! Amazon gave us our first look at its custom-built own-brand smart TVs, HBO Max confirmed its European rollout - starting with the Nordics and Spain this October, and Facebook & Ray-Ban announced their upcoming smart glasses collaboration.
Our favorite product release this week (and Top Pick!) is the redesigned IFI Archive Player website and suite of apps. We are delighted to see our interactive video technology being used by The Irish Film Institute to bring bonus behind-the-scenes materials to its new collection F-Rated which features 36 short films by extraordinary Irish female filmmakers.
We were also very happy to see our customer Waterbear being recognised by Forbes for their leadership in building a carbon-free future for the streaming industry.
Until next week!
How The Matrix Resurrections is using JavaScript and Nuxt to generate dynamic teaser trailers at run time
And finally
We were very giddy to try out Warner Bros. interactive teaser trailers for the much-anticipated The Matrix Resurrections, and to our surprise, no two trailers were the same!
At Axonista, we are big fans of choose your own adventure, so we were delighted by the level of personalised trailers delivered by choosing the red or the blue pill.
Appocalypse has written a detailed and equally delightful article all about the programming behind the teaser.
