Netflix is the power house behind many binge watching marathons and sourcing content globally it helped provide content to an audience they didn't even know they needed.
At present, a single Netflix subscription will get you Marvel movies and DC shows alongside in-house originals. But in 2019, when Disney enters the streaming playing field both of those may leave for parent-company subscriptions at Disney and Time Warner respectively.
The battle to the top will be a bold one, with customers most likely purchasing multiple streaming packages and considering which one's to keep.
Who will be the winner? Well, only time will tell with 2019 looking like an interesting year ahead in this space.
