Happy Friday!
This week we've read a lot about experiments with the ways we consume our content.
The most notable being Disney which surprised the streaming industry by committing its biggest shows to weekly release schedules. We're split on this at Axonista HQ. We think it's a great strategy to build a buzz around its new shows, differentiate its offering from Netflix, and stop subscribers from churning early. But we also feel it could be off-putting to some potential subscribers, who will wait a few months until there's enough content available before they commit.
We are agreed that we're looking forward to watching shows like Loki.
Until next time!
