Happy Friday!

Our Top Pick this week is an interesting look at Youtube and the streaming wars. Youtube has been a dominant force in streaming for over a decade but they are commonly absent from the streaming wars conversations. The main reason given for this is YouTube and services like Netflix do different things and yes, this is true.

Youtube content is (mainly) user-generated, revenue comes (mainly) from ads and content is (mainly) short form. While Netflix has high-budget, well-produced long-form content funded by subscription revenue.

But that doesn't mean they don't have similar goals or that they can't learn from each other.

Enjoy, Until next week everybody!
